Ariel is a graduate of Andrews University, the University of Central Florida and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. (ASHA). She has earned multiple awards for continuing education (ACE awards) from ASHA, and has participated in ASHA’s Special Interest Groups (SIG-17: Global issues in Communication Sciences and Related Disorders, SIG-13: Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (Dyphagia) and SIG-14: Cultural and Lingusitic Diversity). She is an active member of SIG-18: Telepractice.
Prior to launching Creative Solutions, Ariel has worked in a variety of settings around the US, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, home health, school-based services, and early intervention. During the past 10 years of practice, she has served countless clients across the lifespan, from 18 month-old early intervention clients with developmental delays to nonagenarians with difficulty in swallowing and memory care.
Ariel is an active member of ASHA, and the NZSTA (New Zealand). She maintains current licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in California, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Oregon and Texas and is available for teletherapy consultations and services.
In her downtime, she enjoys traveling, baking, reading, distance running, music, spending time with family, friends and her pets, volunteering with her church and participating in community based services.
